Going In Circles - Friends Of Distinction (July 1969) HQ
When The HiFIs disbanded, Harry Elston and Floyd Butler formed The Friends of Distinction while the rest formed The Five Dimensions. Ex football great Jim Brown helped The Friends of Distinction to sign with RCA Records. Their first single at RCA was "Grazin' In the Grass" which became a mega hit on their first attempt. "Grazin' In the Grass" also went gold making The Friends of Distinction a popular group. Their follow-up to "Grazin' In The Grass" was a slow methodical heart song called "Going In Circles" released in July 1969. It too went gold.
